I am looking for big goals, but it is true–people try to hold me back. The skepticism is an obstacle that makes me feel low. It makes me want to accomplish the goal even more.
Some people thought I was cracked up, and needed counseling–all because I seek big goals. They should just leave me alone.

From my observation with people trying business opportunities most fail because they give up to fast and let the failures get the best of them.
I also agree socializing with positive people and open-minded people do help you reach your goals.

Granted you’re going to fail, but you must persist. These people expect people to know that being successful is a gamble, and that anyone with a little common sense knows this. They say “birds of a feather flock together”you need to hang around like-minded people to pick up their habits. When your friends aren’t as successful as you, they can even contribute to your failure.

well, you ask yourself two questions. 1) what is my life about? 2) Is my current life in alignment with that? If not, make the necessary change. You know the answer to your question.

The problem with sales guys and entrepreneurs is that they are allot like compulsive gamblers

They suffer from a type of SELECTIVE PERCEPTION

They remember the HITS and ignore ALL THE MISSES..

They also take Brian’s advice and they only hang out with people who are JUST LIKE THEM
(Brainwashed… is actually a good word for it)

The quest for the Million Dollar business is like searching for Capt Ahab’s buried treasure

But are you willing for you and your family to grow BROKE 16 times??

BoredGuyWithCamera February 9, 2010 at 4:45 am

Isn’t the interviewer a star on the daily show? I’ve seen him before.

stockmaster1982 February 9, 2010 at 5:20 am

These damn energy vampires, get the heck out of my life. They always get
in your life..

mrmoreno1 February 9, 2010 at 5:37 am

Energy Vampires!!
I like that term for people who do not believe in us.

FutureFrogman7 February 9, 2010 at 5:56 am

Your comment is a good example of an ‘energy vampire’ like Jerry Clark is talking about in the video lol.

“Anybody can critisize, condemn, and complain; and most fools do!”

drufuss2006 February 9, 2010 at 6:53 am

He is not an interviewer. He is Jerry Clark. He is a professional motivational speaker…and he is great at that!

cmf4321 February 9, 2010 at 6:58 am

The interviewer is the worst I’ve ever heard. He’s annoying and needs to find another field…I’ve never heard such unprofessional reactions to listening to someone speak…he keeps hmmmming to every comment…ANNOYING!

strange interviewer’s reactions. Brian Tracy has changed my life for sure

onegreeneye February 9, 2010 at 9:02 am

woo!!! try try again… need this.. have to revisit this every so often..its so true… ANd Im finding that the continuous trying creates a fire, and a strength in you, which prepares you for the growth later…everything is 4 a reason.. and perhaps, to weed out those that its not meant for..u never know..God lets some go up, and some stay on popular route..but, what HE inspires is sure to happen, as one perseveres.
