I would say it’s a matter of getting in touch with the collective consciousness of the world.
People do want the universe to be human because it was created by humans. Deep down people are scared of God, they believe that they have left Heaven and have sinned against God. Of course, the ego helps with that interpretation. But the point is that the universe is already human and people desire it to stay that way because it means that we don’t have to return to Heaven and face the punishment of God. The funny part is that if we actually listened to the Holy Spirit instead of the ego, we’d realize that God does not will to punish us, in fact, we’ve never left Heaven….it’s just our ego experience that we have.

Yes, I had an epiphany that belief in any god is just irrational nonsense.
It’s pretty sad to want to find meaning in the universe and not it’s creator.
